After becoming one of the largest crypto platforms in The Netherlands, we are now accelerating our growth across Europe with a strong focus on institutional clients. As part of this expansion, we are building a dedicated Institutional Sales function to serve banks, fintech, asset managers, corporates, and other professional investors.

To drive this next phase, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Institutional Sales Manager based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. You will play a key role in building and scaling our institutional client base, acting as a trusted partner to sophisticated investors entering or expanding in digital assets.

You will work closely with leadership, product, and compliance teams to shape our institutional offering, ensuring it meets the highest standards in terms of execution, security, and regulatory compliance. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven scale-up and help establish Finst as a leading institutional crypto platform in Europe.

Your daily adventures will include

  • Building and managing relationships with institutional clients such as trading firms, brokers, asset managers, corporates, and financial institutions

  • Driving the full sales cycle end-to-end: from prospecting and outreach to onboarding and long-term account management

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their investment strategies and providing tailored crypto solutions

  • Developing and executing Finst’s institutional sales strategy to accelerate growth across key European markets

  • Collaborating closely with product, trading, and compliance teams to deliver a best-in-class institutional offering

  • Representing Finst at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen our institutional presence

  • Monitoring market trends, client needs, and competitor activity to continuously refine our value proposition

  • Providing regular insights and feedback to senior leadership on pipeline development, client needs, and market opportunities.

Preferred Experience

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Fluent in English (additional languages such as Dutch or German is a strong plus)

  • At least 3 years of experience in institutional sales within crypto, trading or financial services

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree from a top tier university, with a focus on business, marketing, communication or other relevant field

  • Proven track record of originating and closing deals with institutional clients

  • Strong network within the institutional investment space in Europe (brokers, asset managers, funds, family offices, etc.)

  • Ability to communicate complex products and concepts clearly to sophisticated investors

  • Experience working in a regulated environment, with awareness of compliance and onboarding requirements

  • Highly driven, commercial mindset with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

  • Resilient, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
